Gingerbread Houses???

Today’s blog will be short and sweet.  I promised last time to show the photos of our cardboard-house making adventure.  I must say, when my husband suggested we make cardboard houses this year rather than the traditional gingerbread cookie, I was a bit skeptical. However, he ran with his vision and utilized his architectural skills and I must say I love the results! 

There are a few main benefits to these: 

1.  We aren’t filling our faces with more sweets.
2. I get to use up old scrap paper and stickers.
3. We will get to pull these out year after year and add to them. 

My one word of advice. Find a way to make the roof a separate piece so that the unit can be more interactive.
